In his uphill campaign for Attorney General of Wisconsin, Scott Hassett wanted to draw attention to the Republican incumbent's refusal to agree to debates or forums featuring both candidates. This radio ad—Hassett's first ad of the election season—went right at the incumbent and helped stir news and editorial comment about the incumbent's untenable stance. Before long, the incumbent was forced to agree to a series of debates and candidate forums.
