Influencing Decisions

Visuality has been highly successful in moving people to action and influencing decisions on behalf of our clients.

As media consultants for the winning campaigns of former Wisconsin Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager and Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction Elizabeth Burmaster (including her initial election in 2001 and her re-election in 2005), Visuality developed aggressive, creative statewide media strategies that not only cut through the heavy political season clutter but also delivered compelling, research-driven messages.

During the first year of its Schools First effort, Education Minnesota worked with Visuality on a full-scale campaign launch, including aggressive earned media effort, a major media launch (including statewide TV, online, and outdoor advertising), and internal communications to leadership and membership. In addition to encouraging polling results that have shown measurable progress during the inaugural year of Schools First, Minnesotans embraced the Schools First idea at the ballot box. Not only did Minnesota voters make education one of their top election issues in 2006, they also went to the polls to reject anti-education candidates and elect huge pro-education majorities to both houses of the Minnesota Legislature, delivering a resounding Schools First victory at the ballot box.

Later, Visuality helped Education Minnesota launch an innovative viral campaign to engage and energize their members throughout the state. That campaign resulted in a great deal of excitement, tremendous click-through rates on the viral email, and a great increase in member involvement in Education Minnesota's cyber-lobbying efforts.

In addition to those victories, Visuality has helped a number of other candidates and organizations achieve victory in hard-fought campaigns to support and defeat legislation, as well as to elect or defeat candidates for office up and down the ballot.
